Just finished KANG #2. If there is storytelling with more density in comics these days, I don't know about it. They make 20 pages feel like three times that. Bravo!
Seriously, the art by @tunayo & Whitney Cogar in this book is just lovely.
Apparently it’s #WesternComicsMonth. Good excuse to tip the hat at my first Image series, Black Jack Ketchum. We swung for the surrealist fences & had a load of fun. Big ❤️ to co-creator/artist @Claudia_Balboni & cover artist @JeremySaliba.
Hey! Today's my birthday. Want to help me celebrate (or distract me from the fact this is my 2nd one under lockdown)? Then go buy or review my books at https://t.co/YUAuHjbw7M, or at your LCS! H/T to @Peposed for the idea!
Stop everything you’re doing and post a comic cover you really like. https://t.co/N50riddCEh
It’s a stellar NCBD, but the standout is unquestionably G.I. JOE #7 from @ChrisEvenhuis & @PaulAllor. It deals with some heavy topics in an honest, unsparing, and ultimately hopeful fashion. Plus, it’s also a masterclass in compressed storytelling. You want this.
Today's your last chance to pre-order LONELY RECEIVER from your LCS. In the words of writer/co-creator @ZacBeThompson: "A weird horror-romance comic about losing/finding yourself after a devastating breakup." I find it to be much more, & you will, too.
