Visual inspirations came from John Boyega Scott Summers fancasts, Ultimate Cyclops's asymetrical chest pouches, and, like all of these "white with an additional color" X-Men costumes, the All-New X-Men outfits.

I miss wild super hero movie tie-in games. They'd just throw in their interpretations of a bunch of characters that weren't in the film. Like this GBA exclusive, which possibly proposes that Johnny Storm fought an army of Skrulls between scenes in the first movie.
