damn this page still makes me cry now as much as it did when i was 13

i haven't emotionally recovered from this scene to this day

this single arc completely destroyed archie sonic powerscaling forever

like i can't help but feel they have way better chemistry than sonic and sally have had for most of the comic

you know if it weren't for the fact antoine and bunnie make for such a cute couple i probably would ship her with sonic, every story where they're teamed up is so entertaining because they share the same bastard energy

The artwork in the Archie comics has already been great, but the Future Tense side-story particularly impressed me. Jamal Peppers has always done great pencilwork, but the addition of Terry Austin and Ray Dillon's combined inking and colouring really blew me away here.

Making the Babylon Rogues deserters of the Kukku Army was also a neat addition since they're the only major bird characters in any of the games aside from Bean(who's also related to Jet in Archie iirc)

so glad ray and mighty are back thanks to sonic mania, i love these guys
