I'm enjoying my read through of 1960s X-men - you never know what's going to be in each issue. # 36 has this scene where the gang try to get work on a construction site but are rejected for not being union members. Three weeks before they were fighting an ancient god.
SPACE COMMUTE
Just a lunch time doodle. I dunno, miss writing my sci-fi fluff, should get back on it.
For me it was The Wimpy. Which is like a UK McDonalds but was everywhere before McDonalds became completely dominant. They even have a mascot. It's a beefeater, for the uninitiated.
I still pop in Wimpy every time I come across one, their milkshakes are incredible. https://t.co/4juh3yTx5Y
@flopscomics What freaked me - and led me into suspicion just how much is original - is this picture from simply entering "Ghost of Perdition". Not only is it appealing, it's also got specific - unasked for details the other variants didn't have: the library, the figure in front.
My drawing on the left (about 2 hours) vs me describing it to the leading AI that rhymes with WallE. this was the best of the suggestions after three generations and adding extra description. I think I'm safe for now.
@PulpLibrarian This is the face of a DM just waiting for someone to miscalculate their THAC0
Or, if you want to read my ambitious-but-messy first attempt at comic making, check out Templars of the Shifting Verse. A noir fantasy that I'm finishing next year with a big finale. (Images from Chapter 2 and the upcoming Chapter 5)
