I was in a "worldbuilding" kind of mood recently and thought drawing this might at least be a good starting point of sorts for Dumps and her world here, even if it's not actually the first piece of artwork I've made of her.
I've probably said it before but I feel like maybe I should make more digital artwork. 🦝
This time I used only that set of brown/orange/yellow markers for pretty much all the colouring here in this pic of Arno. I guess the limited colour range provided inspiration here and perhaps kind of forced me to avoid using colours that wouldn't have worked so well together.
I guess I've been feeling indecisive and dissatisfied about certain aspects of my art again and it kind of led to me drawing this. It seems I've been getting bored of giving my characters an overall human-style anatomy, hence this redesign of sorts for Claudia here.
I kind of came up with half a dozen new skunk characters about a couple of years ago, but I've pretty much stopped using them and later started drawing a couple of even newer skunk characters including Lisa here.
You might be aware that Rubi here isn't my first raccoon character, but I guess I might not have designed her this much based on real-life raccoons if she was.
This pic was inspired by prehistoric cave paintings of human hands, but I'm not sure the effect I was going for came out as well here as hoped.
Before coming up with Beryl here, I usually followed a kind of rule against having more than one character of a certain species if they weren't connected somehow.
