This character, a parrot named Pierre, may not have appeared around here before but I did come up with and have since posted several pics of him elsewhere some time ago.
For this pic of Rubi, I used watercolour paints and water brushes, which are basically like regular brushes but have their own built-in water reservoirs. I wonder if it was such a good idea to try drawing with what probably are really tools made more for painting though.
Some time ago, @AGlider27 digitally coloured a couple of drawings I did of my own dragon character Pien-Hua; I'm thankful for the great work here. 🙂 The full-body pic is based on a kind of prototypical design for her.
"I was told my diet could do with more variety but isn't there any kind of food with less calories than bamboo?"
Here's another oil pastel drawing I did; this time though it features Roocan, with certain parts done in marker pen and an entirely different set of pastels for the colouring here. These were neon-coloured ones that were perhaps too bright for my scanner to reproduce properly.
"I found out that doughnuts aren't actually a type of nut, and I ate quite a few to make sure."
"They say tanuki are shapeshifters - well, I guess I've changed to a rounder shape myself!"
