@Level20Artist Well, this is a fun one out of left field one for me (because I'm mostly made of landscapes), but here goes.... :-D
Also, @charamath @Kamakru this is your bailiwick!
What a beautiful sunny day (at least where I am)! I thought I'd share a concept exploration (left) connected to an illustration (right) called 'The High Road'. All part of what I'm cooking up for my patrons over at P*treon. :-)
"The Last Town", which I recently painted for a game in development by Tyler Warren. Final on the left, initial rough on the right for comparison! A final outpost of humanity, built on the ruins of earlier civilization, caught between a ruined wasteland and dangers untold.
'The Garden of Solitude' has been a pleasure to work on this year: my own place of peace whenever the world is all too much. If you're curious about its origins and purpose, feel free to read more in the comments! I also want to thank my patrons for their support and patience. ❤️
Thanks for the shout out! Alright, here are some creepy ones... https://t.co/WnA0O2Wx68
"And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." How appropriate for these times, and for social media in particular.
"The Void", which I painted for an upcoming game designed by Tyler Warren.
Things feel all in a tangle, and my heart is heavy. At least it's not robot spiders, but that's small comfort indeed.
The illustration is "Silksteel Jungles", for @MonteCookGames #numenera setting.
Ok, couldn't resist #100percentzoom; definitely useful to see just how messy this stuff gets before it's shrunk down for reproduction as whatever product. And for the record, I almost never work on stuff at 100%. 25-33% is typical, often pulling out to 16%. I like painterly!
@artbysamwhite Thanks for the artshare, Sam! So glad to see you're doing well these days.
Here are some of my recent landscapes!
