@grant_gould_art Jacobs Ladder came out my Freshman year of college & everybody in my dorm was obsessed with it for about 2 months before a little movie called Silence of the Lambs came along & kicked JL down the memory hole.
But I still think JL was one of the best movies of the 1990s.

@el_zombo Classic! My only complaint about this movie are the inserted closeup shots of a real ape when Charles Gemora’s gorilla suit is so much cooler looking. I love gorilla suits in old movies bc they have the exaggerated style of comic-book monster-gorillas. “Realism” is boring!

Showed my toddler the 1967 Spiderman cartoon (my fave as a kid). She LOVED it & asked for more.
Just one problem: she says Daddy’s favorite villains (Goblin & Lizard) are “Too Scawy”.
She likes Sandman because “He playing in sand, Daddy!” & Spidey drives a bulldozer in that one.

@MonsterPr0n Thanks! I created Wulf & Batsy around Dec.1999-Jan.2000, & wrote & drew comics about them (on the side of my day job) ever since. I finished the most recent graphic novel in 2017. Like most "exploitation horror" they are not for everybody but those who like em seem to love em.
