Kirby and the Forgotten Land wasn't the first time we saw an abandoned mall in a Kirby game. Last time was in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, in Shiver Star Stage 3. Just like the forgotten land Kirby is exploring here, Shiver Star was also home to a lost civilization.

@jigglyclops @AidenRS139 The most obvious Dragon Quest reference in that fight is probably this. Both are called "Red Dragon" and the pose is identical. In the remake it's "Great Dragon", but the color becomes orange, like the DQ Red Dragon.

Sometimes I think about these KDL3 sprites I made last year by drawing them and then scaling them down like the actual game's sprites were. I definitely want to make more whenever I have more time on my hands for it.

Note how Mario Day uses the first three letters of March and then uses 10 as 1337 for "io". If you were to change the 10 to roman numerals, it would become X, and the spelling would become "MarX" instead. Happy Marx Day!
