She was a graduate of the Civic Hospital School of Nursing, likely in the class of 1925. The graduates of 1925, the first year of the newly amalgamated training program, are listed in the attached @OttawaCitizen article.

1/2... June 20, 1832: the first Board of Health was founded at Bytown, prompted by an outbreak of cholera in the burgeoning settlement. A temporary hospital was hurriedly erected on Sussex Street above the steamboat wharf – for a time colloquially referred to as “Cholera Wharf."
