Magical Drop III (1996, Data East) - NEOGEO
RGBPi Raw Pixels vs. RGBPi RGB via Sony PVM-20L2MD
I recalibrated my PVM again and I think I'm a lot happier with the colors over RGB. It still always photographs fairly blue, so keep that in mind.
Mario Kart 64 (1996, Nintendo) - N64
PC Emulator vs. N64 Composite via Sony KV-20FS100
This set is not calibrated so keep that in mind, but I think the difference in Donkey Kong's fur here is striking.
Super Hang-On (1989, Sega) Genesis/Mega Drive
PC Emulator vs. Genesis Composite via Insignia IS-TV040919
Grabbed this quick shot from my brother's set. I still love these cheaper CRTs and I think it did a great job with the trees here.
@abrahamYG Looking at Haohmaru's concept art for the game, I don't believe I'm off base here.
Chrono Trigger (1995, Squaresoft) - SNES
PC Emulator vs. SNES S-Video via Sony PVM-20L2MD
I know we've been looking at a lot of portraits and S-Video this week, but I just grant me one more!
The Adventures of Batman & Robin (1995, Clockwork Tortoise) - Genesis/Mega Drive
PC Emulator vs. Genesis Composite via Sony KV-27FS2010

This is one of those games that I really love over any input.
U.N. Squadron (1991, Capcom) - SNES
PC Emulator vs. SNES S-Video via PVM-20L2MD
This game is just stacked with beautiful portraits and illustrations that look amazing on a CRT.
Kirby Super Star (1996, HAL) - SNES
Raw Pixels vs. RGBPi RGB via Sony PVM-20L2MD
Love to see my handsome boys just having a good time.
Samurai Shodown II (1994, SNK) Neo Geo
RGBPi Raw Pixels vs. RGBPi via Sony PVM 20L2MD RGB
I sometimes get criticism about color changes from the raw pixels, but look at Haohmaru's skin tone here. You can't tell me SNK didn't intend for these colors to change on a CRT.
