More comic books starring apes, please. Who’s your favorite ape in comics?

Farewell to artist Hector Garrido who passed away in his sleep on the 19th. While not a comic book artist, he did illustrate the card art for many GI Joe figures that a lot of us grew up with.

Farewell to the amazing Juan Giménez, another victim of Covid-19. I discovered his work in Heavy Metal as a teenager. Later loved his work on Metabarons. Learned more about him when I made my episode about Eternaut which he later remade as L'Eternaut.

I came across this online just now and had completely forgotten about it. Back in 2004, Travel Foreman and I came up with a redesign for Ms. Marvel. The art and idea is his. I just had the color scheme and did the coloring here. This is pre-Captain Marvel. I still like it.

How many times has 616/main universe Punisher died? I know he’s died in alternate universe stories but in main continuity he commit suicide and became an angel and he was also hacked up by Daken and turned into Frankencastle.

Any I’m forgetting? Revived any other way?
