55 years ago, #StanLee chose the name #Abomination, only because it belonged to no other character. His instructions to the artist were only to make him bigger and stronger than #Hulk, so they could have fun with him.

Created in 1962, #MetalMen were unusual for the time, like apparently being set in a universe with no other #DCcomics characters or seeming to know at times that they were comic book characters.

My colors over Diego Giribaldi, Emiliano Urdinola and Sebastian Cabrol's drawings for Altercomic Studios. These are parte of the newest DC Comics Deck-Building Game, based on Injustice, from Cryptozoic Entertainment.

Originally intended as a one-off for the sake of simply copyrighting the name before DC had the chance to, #SpiderWoman's debut sold so unexpectedly well, she soon debuted in her own title, 45 years ago.
