#sciencefiction and #fantasy #gaming have always exhibited a lot of overlap with each other; the roots are deep at #TSR. Warriors of Mars, Star Probe, Star Empires, and Metamorphosis Alpha were all early #RPGs of the sci-fi genre.

Adventuring is not always about "business", sometimes it can be about silly fun too, even if the setting is dangerous...I bought these BITD, but waited to run them until a proper Castle Greyhawk was published to attach them to; I'm still waiting—maybe I'll use El Raja Key 🤔

In 1985, #TSR released the #Conan RPG, written by David "Zeb" Cook. The box set had a full-color map of Hyboria—it's countries, cities, rivers, lakes and islands; a 32-page rule book with special rules for creating your own adventures for Conan and companions;
