This paint comes in a ton of colors and can be gouache-like or watercolor-like depending on how wet your paintbrush is. I love the simplicity of portable paint sets and wanted kuretake to drop a portable version of these paints for years (it just dropped a few months ago)!

I have 30 additional colors, but these are the Daniel Smiths you always see me on trips with and what I use primarily for the past 2-4 years. My main 12 for travel is the list from Hansa Yellow Light to Jane’s Grey.

I forgot i wanted to fix the color of Big Man’s flappy arm fin things. i can do that later. My best #MAGFest2023 art was this Deep Cut #Splatfest painting I stayed up all friday night/saturday morning working on. When I fix Big Man’s colors, I’ll also photoshop Frye’s weird arm.

Strathmore’s 100% cotton watercolor paper turned out to be a horrible choice for my Adeleine art cards that i stopped after two drawings and used my sketchbook ever since. I work dominantly wet-on-dry and other cotton papers work with that fine but this paper is… uhhh
