Why am I doing this to myself

Then I adjust the shading on the entire drawing by adding another multiply layer. And I adjust the colors with two overlay layers! One green at 100%, and a lighter greyish blue at 21%, playing with the opacity and multiple overlay layers can give you a cool result!

Then the lightning! I used a cold color too because I wanted the drawing to look spooky and cold for real, this place is as welcoming as a brick. Same as for the shading: hard brush, blend, texturing! For the hair I just make my blender smaller and do lot of small strokes in it.

Now it's my favorite step, the shading and lightning! First I choose where my light is, and then I pick a cold color and use from one to three (in this case it's two) multiply layer for the foreground and the background each. I use a hard brush, then blend, then texturise.

The flat colors! It's also a very quick step because I have the character's colors saved! I just use one layer=one color so it's not confusing (except for the background I used one layer for every hair and eyes and one layer for every skin) and work from darker to lighter!
