Just for fun, I decided to colour that new Carnage Forever variant by Mark Bagley.

I absolutely love this variant and it’s already up there as one of my favourite Carnage arts of all time.

I just realized that Cletus and the Carnage Symbiote being separated and creating two “Carnages” isn’t a new concept.

We got the same thing in 2018 where Cletus became Poison Carnage and the Symbiote became Red Goblin.

So this isn’t really that “new” of an idea.

What is everyone’s thoughts on the new Carnage stuff based on what we’ve gotten thus far?

I’m personally apprehensive for it.

I don’t like that they’re trying to separate the Carnage name & symbiote from Cletus when he himself IS Carnage.

But we’ll have to see I guess.

@7Spideycomics @Marvel Marvel is also getting rid of Cletus in the Carnage 30th anniversary special and new series.

I’m tired of this awful way of “celebrating” characters.

Big Mother in design (to the point where I and many others thought Bedlam’s hand was hers when this teaser image first released).

And if Bedlam/Grendel starts forming it’s own identity again after encountering Big Mother, would it not make sense for them to look alike?

Considering that Ram V is writing the new Carnage series, it seems most likely that this Carnage will be moreso tied into his Dylan story rather than Al Ewing’s Eddie story.

Big Mother (The Grendel’s mother) will be encountering Dylan and his story based on this teaser art.
