An old favourite now on my Etsy shop. My limited edition print of Aeshna cyanea - Southern Hawker Dragonfly. This one’s a male, because it has lots of blue on it’s beautiful body. I got this capture as it was sunning itself on my roses. https://t.co/ofeFqflx2E

I love the Arts & Crafts movement. The raison d’être behind their creations was to reject industrialisation and embrace nature. Some of their designs are sumptuous. Pics, Ecosia.

Hoping to collect seeds from my Foxgloves soon. Do you know that these wonderful plants produce many more seeds than other plants, with over a million produced? Should get some new plants from all those then.. ☺️#MHHSBD https://t.co/ofeFqflx2E

I love historic Natural-History artists. One of my fav’s is Audubon, the American ornithologist, naturalist & artist, who created fabulous art, cataloguing American wildlife. Some of his paintings recorded his beloved birds’ relationships with insects...as food..! ☺️

Famous for his nonsense poetry, such as ”The Owl & the Pussycat”, Edward Lear is not so well-known for his gorgeous bird paintings. I love them! The colour, the drama, the detail and the way the background is gently faded, makes the birds “pop”! They’re so effective.😍😍
