Finally “Sensing through Uncertainty” is finished. It is a 24x18in #acrylicpainting that as it led me into a very personal sphere, I had to step back and regroup a number of times. Proud that I completed the challenge, though! 👩🎨🎨

It’s what I’ve been working on today and now pausing to determine the next steps. That’s the painting process and life process, too!

I struggle to recognize when “things” are finished. I tend to overdo & overthink until finally I have lost the fresh energy that was there in the beginning. Working to break out of this cycle through #painting.
My new #painting, “Ode to my Rwandan Rose” is complete - signed, sealed, (and will be personally) delivered May 4th to a real Angel on her graduation day - PhD! Our shared verse over the years has been Jeremiah 29:11, and indeed what hope and a future lies ahead for her! ❤️

There are 9 #FruitsOfTheSpirit according to Galatians 5:22-23, thus 9 in my #painting series. Here are 2 more: “Peaches” who looks like the mama and a gift to my brother celebrating the birth of their 2nd child, and “Pomegranate” for my daughter in China. It’s her favorite fruit!
Right now, I am painting three Madonnas on Three Kings Day as late Christmas gifts nobody wants or needs. Somehow, I’ve gotten “off step” on this journey, and don’t know when/where to stop or turn around. So... I’ll #keepgoing. Together my #art and I are works in progress!
Woke this morning & decided my #painting I worked on all day yesterday is better than I thought. #Takeabreak + #sleep is good! #keepworking
