@archfrijol Even IDW Sonic acknowledged Amy’s importance at the end of the 1st issue & it was Neo Metal Sonic who targeted both her & Sonic simultaneously to be killed in one ambush. In the Classic Sonic 30th Anniversary Special, it was the same pattern.

We got thirsty, desperate fans who want Amy’s character completely ignored so badly for Shadow in Sonic Movie 3. It’s a repeat of what happened with Sonic Frontiers when they wanted Amy completely replaced w/the debunked rumored ghost girl. They never learn!

This is the cornerstone foundation that the Sonic Cinematic Universe needs to be built on, not on blind fandom favoritism for a side character that SEGA doesn’t focus on. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles & Amy are the 4 principal characters & their stories need to be told first.

@jamal_moonga @Crafte131 Main base I meant. A lot can be done with CD. A death race b/w Sonic & Metal Sonic canonically happened in Sonic CD w/Amy as the prize for survival. Even Archie Sonic #290 confirmed that.

@sonicx1027 Stardust Speedway Zone Act 3, Good Future – the famous death race b/w Sonic & Metal Sonic w/Amy as the grand prize. It was the original rivalry of Sonic & his doppelgänger in the game canon.

It’s the same Sonic from the games. It’s the same IDW continuity. But what’s the difference with Sonic’s approach & behavior with Blaze & Amy, especially with a simple gesture of extending his hand out to them?

@gamecatz570 Archie Sonic Universe #56 showed that Amy didn’t care how many shark 🦈 there were or what kind of sharks they were. She jump into the ocean water to fight them to protect Cream, Cheese & Marine, before it was revealed to be dolphins 🐬. Kudos to Tracy Yardley for that story.

@Lanolomew I never said Sonic doesn’t love Amy. I know his ego & shyness are hindrances to him being honest w/her. I was mainly talking about Classic Tails here & how his admiration for Classic Amy is very evident & that he wants Sonic to see how great Amy is just like in these panels here.
