I like that the promotional images for the Mario 64 part of 3D All-Stars uses the actual in-game polygonal models while the other two games use pre-render art. Like this is actually how Mario looks in this game and they're leaning into it.

I'm still working on my Gustaff. The body shape was really hard to figure out but I eventually went with a combination between the manual art and the box art, being the most consistent pieces of art for how the mech's torso clamps shut.
