John Singer Sargent (American, 1856-1925), Female Nude Seated on a Low Bench, charcoal on paper, 1919. You see numerous male nudes by Sargent online and in exhibitions so this drawing caught my attention. It appears to be a gift based on the top left inscription.

Michael Howard of NVM Illustration in the UK. This image is poetic but his work is typically a power punch of sex, drugs and rock'n' roll.
David Hockney, “Ossie Wearing a Fairisle Sweater” (1970), colored pencil and crayon on paper, 430 x 355 mm. As a student I was surrounded by action painters and these drawings by Hockney fueled my interest in figuration.

Gerald Brockhurst (British, 1890-1978), The Window (Anais), 1922. Etching on laid paper, 5 ½ x 4 in. Edition of 76. At first I thought the subtle tones on her face were the result of an aquatint but it is actually stippling (a dot at a time). Wow.
Remarkable figure study by Théodore Géricault for his monumental painting The Raft of the Medusa, 1818-19. Eugene Delacroix modeled for one of the other figures.
