I've focused a lot on building the structure of the hand (cubes and cylinders), before building flesh and minor form on top of that, and found the structure absolutely crucial. You gotta give yourself a fighting chance if you wanna get better at art.

A #painting for art study. I was struggling a bit with the leaves and foresty textures, but using wet brushes seemed to work best. Might experiment further.
