It's easy to forget that Hyden is a huge, hulking, kinda brutish looking guy under all the delicate silk and jewels (this is intentional on his part). Facial hair brings out that side of him, though, I think.

The disguise Hyden was probably wearing when he first met Theo (Alex & Ridge wouldn't let him wear his wizard renaissance fair robes in public, for some mysterious reason, something about being "too conspicuous").

Fun to see him in something other than his typical effete style.

Fortunately for those around him, Hyden doesn’t actually get any particular pleasure out of causing suffering, though his amoral behavior + ambivalence to other’s wellbeing is easily mistaken for sadism. He doesn't deny the other part, though... (Asked by @BusterTheDragon )

2018 and 2020. 2018 is still probably my favorite. Great shapes, great face, returned to the roots on the design/color scheme somewhat. 2020: didn't know what to do again, attempted to push the pose & colors from 2018 harder and added a background. But I still like 2018 more!

2014+2016. 2014: Lines got cleaner. Didn't see much improvement over previous one tho, attempted more ambitious composition to compensate. 2016: Didn't know what to do, tried reimagining the cat. Leaned into the dragonfruit inspired horns/tendrils to make something different.

A quick model sheet for Chocodile, put together as a reference for a late birthday present that I'm treating myself with...
