Played around with the Unity 2D Animation tools and got all of this working pretty fast, really amazed how easy the workflow with this is <3

Near perfect web physics and movement, big congrats on that! I'm in love with creating webs and would love so see more strategic use in the final game, like capturing giant bugs with special formation!

In the end, a Wave modifier gives it the special form. It is using a marble texture, comming with blender!
Now it's gettting interesting: A simple deform can twist it a full turn to give it a creamy look already!
Then I did what most people do at some point, no way around it: I subdivded the mesh to smooth it out and get a lot of polygons for the next steps!
@sabbi_tabbi @BjoernMeansBear But this version was still just a prototype because we were not sure yet of this gameplay would stand up to a full game. We decided to expand it even more, these are some unused assets from that time.
