Here is a process recording of my recent speedpaint.

Basically, I started with the shape, light, and shadow... and worked from large brush sizes, down to smaller ones.

I had a lot of fun building the silhouettes in this piece.

I attempted this piece, a while ago, but didn't feel like I was able to get it to turn out, but I think I'm more confident now, and better with painting. I'm really happy with the result.
