Remember that royal guard/assassin story idea? The characters had a very specific vibe in my head, several attempts later I think I've finally figured how they look...names are another matter though.

Eagles and Swans is a novel I wrote 2010-2012 and have rewritten like 4 times. Ruthenia (red-haired + ponytail) is the main character and she's got SO much going on.
