Seen in the Exmoor woods a few weeks ago. Very pretty.

@SAOCousins Great!! I do actually use an indigo wash occasionally to "send" things into the background. .. blue recedes the layers ( is hat the right phrase..whatevs). Usually on big acrylics.
..just realised how long it has been since I did one🙄

Josh Widdecombe ( bless!) included Bowermans Nose..a Tor on Dartmoor that was my first illustrative commission!. Cooking tea with a big smile.. heres some doodles from that book

@MuseumOfCurios listening to the great Josh Widdecombe inducting(?) Bowermans Nose into the Museum of Curiosity. A great addition.. here's my pic of Bowerman expelling the witches.. and some other stuff.. for the lovely @BlondesTwo book. My first book illustrations!

@DrRJWarren 4/.. I have used it to do "bespoke" prints of my paintings for buyers who like a picture but want to change it slightly.. This is one..original first, buyers 'option' second. Very sombre .. I prefer the original but the customer is always right... 😁
