I have something like that too with Evangelion and Berserk, but they more compliment eachother than match completely. Mecha sci-fi vs medieval fantasy, sensitive vs hardened protagonist all that.

It's kinda awesome how perfectly Gil's Black Sails and Vinland Saga combo match each other. Idk if there's any way to see two series and understand as perfectly what someone's taste is.
