You can make an argument of redundancy and or lack of necessity against pretty much any Sonic character if you are broad enough, this applies to IDW characters and even plenty of game characters.

Since Koichi is in America I hope it gets confirmed that he’s met a couple of MHAs American cast like Star and Melissa. Even better if he is given an upgraded version of the full gauntlet by Melissa to give to Deku should he appear in the final battle. #MHA #MHAVigilantes
