@MagusAndrus @GreenScorpion64 Oh, or if they actually had Largo remain playable after he loses his arm offscreen. Just represent it with nerfs to Strength and Skill, but not applying to smaller axes like Hand Axes.
1. Spider-Man: No Way Home
I’m a huge MCU fan so this was always gonna be great to me, but this one in particular was one hell of an event. So much happens in this film and somehow it all feels properly-paced and communicated. Not as good as Spiderverse, but just as hype.
@joshscorcher I think the famous one is Yoamat from FFXII, and the record holder in pre-patch Pandemonium Warden from FFXI, but if I can take is all back in time for a second…
Punchbag Bob from Neopets.
Sondheim got to write lyrics AND compose for first time with A Funny Happened on the Way to the Forum (1966), though his name wasn’t highly associated with the show at the time. The director basically told him his songs would be short diversions to give the audience a break…
So after reflecting on Persona 4 some more, which I still really enjoyed btw, I finally nailed down something that feels wrong to me about it. The main cast bickers A LOT, which can be fine, but it happens so often that I don’t get the sense the kids actually like each other.
Ant-Man and the Wasp
IW is a hard act to follow, but lighten up! This movie’s a lot of fun! There’s some pointless detours and I wish we got more out of the villain. And quantum stuff is so bs. But c’mon, a shrinking car chase through San Fran? Justifies the whole film for me!
Thor: The Dark World
It’s garbage but it’s MY garbage. They somehow picked all the least interesting choices, and the colors are drab even by MCU standards. But Thor and Loki are two of my favorite characters in these films and they continue their home run streak. Act 3 sucks…
Question for everyone:
We had some good video games come out in 2021 so far; who are your favorite new VIDEO GAME CHARACTERS introduced this year?
I guess if I had to summarize my thoughts on representation in video games, I would say that these are four really strong female characters, and saying that one of them should have been more like any other one of them is extremely reductive.
