Just curious, do any of you have opinions on the game Child of Light? I played it awhile ago, but just found myself thinking about it again. I thought it did a lot of neat stuff mechanically but overall I came away appreciating but not really LIKING the game very much.

My D&D character Banquo the skeleton recently made progress on his quest to become mortal; turns out wish-granting mirrors aren’t strong enough for the whole task, but he got a human face now!

Of all the games to de-canonize, why this? She’s so cool! One of the early Belmont’s, only known woman to slay Dracula, beat Alucard in a duel, and raised the legacy of Vampire Hunters! Sonia got robbed.

6.) Kangaskhan (Pokémon)

Motherhood is a trait for the whole species. They shelter their children, but are also known to care for lost orphans, including Ash’s Pikachu in the anime. Fighting alongside your baby might seem haphazard, but they gotta grow up sometime, and they OP!

3.) Terra (Final Fantasy VI)

After the apocalypse, Terra gives up the whole “save the world” thing and devotes herself to a small village and its children, connecting with her humanity in that way. She eventually resolves to save the world for them.

I know Sakurai would never do this, but what I want more than anything in Smash is for more reps from obscure Nintendo franchises. I’m talking Takamaru from Murasame Castle, Ayumi from Famicom Mystery Club, Mach Rider with an Excite Bike alt, the Ouendan with Elite Beat alt...
