It's ready, Top Comics to Buy for September 18, 2019...it's an unusually super-hero heavy week thanks to indie fare like Black Hammer and Second Coming, plus DC's Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen, all of which play with, satirize, or homage the genre. https://t.co/iedQGkqSxZ
Happy Fourth! Captain America by Alex Ross and the Superman Family by Patrick Gleason. May our country better reflect the values these characters represent in the months (and years) to come.
Happy #NCBD Eve, you all! Weekly tradition...favorite covers for tomorrow. By @AH_AdamHughes @And_Sorrentino @TotinoTedesco and @AaronKuder
Heading out to my LCS (and that sad Subway), but first here are the week's reviews (with one more still to come later):
Ascender #1: https://t.co/uNu403drvi
Fearscape #5: https://t.co/d009VQcLJM
Queen of Bad Dreams #1: https://t.co/ZPlhy0Et9N

One of my favorite things in Kirby artwork is when characters have big reactions in the foreground of panels. Incredible use of space and depth.
#NCBD Eve tradition, favorite covers for tomorrow (even though many titles midnight released and I'm sure a lot you all are currently tearing through them...). By Brian Bolland, Yasmin Putri, @NickDerington, and Jenny Frison.
Rough Monday. Nothing unusual, just a lot of prep work before heading to SXSW on Thursday. Anyway, I'm going to go ahead and help circulate these forthcoming excellent variant covers for Action Comics #1009 and Teen Titans #28, by @FrancisManapul and @MicoSuayan. So good.
One more time for the late night crowd...@maliciousglee's February Thirsty Thursday is up now. I hope you all enjoy taking in this art as much as I do. Check it out! https://t.co/FzBbrHDwvU
Just finished our huge 1,700 word New #1 Comics blowout for February. Short month, long on great new series. So many I spent all morning compiling thoughts...https://t.co/i2UxA0h01r
