@iblamethe80s @ZakaZ96 The right one isn't horrible, just plain and generic. A lot of things in this show look plain, and the designers tried to remedy that by adding useless slits and straps to the clothes. The writing in the new show is... not great, but we're talking purely about designs.

@ZakaZ96 Also, I would argue that there's designs from the original show that convey the character better. One of these is a princess, the other is a generic fantasy teenager.

@ZakaZ96 Furthermore, it seems like the artists behind the new She-ra are only good at drawing people. Comapre these two monsters, which would you say is designed better?

@Thomaserail @RATKlNS The main heroine of the Walking Dead telltale games also lives in a zombie apocalypse and is strong, but she looks visually interesting, and feminine, without being sexualised. It also helps that those games have their own visual style, and not just generic CGI people

@scumbelievable @grease_bat I always preferred this illustration of Gothmog by John Howe. He looks so mysterious and threatening. The movie guy is just an ugly bastard.
Though I never read the books, and from what I heard his race is a subject of discourse.
