Today is #Epiphany or Little Christmas, a traditional day of rest for Irish women.
And as it's Thursday, we're throwing back a century to some Irish women of the 1920s!
Nollaig na mBan shona daoibh go léir!

⏳ FINAL WEEK! 🚨
As REMBRANDT IN PRINT enters its final week, we're turning our attention to Self-portrait with Saskia (1636), which dates to two years after the artist's marriage. It is a self-conscious portrait that promoted him as both a successful artist and printmaker.
This WORK OF THE WEEK is a real old favourite!
The Red Rose (1923) is one of the most recognisable portraits John Lavery made of his wife and fellow painter, Hazel Martyn, whom he first met in 1903 while on a painting trip to Brittany.
They would marry six years later.
⏳ ONLY 3 WEEKS LEFT!
Our #RembrandtInPrint countdown continues with the artist's astonishing portrait of tax collector Jan Uytenbogaert, known as The Goldweigher.
REMBRANDT IN PRINT must close on 9 January.
