Other Lives - 9/10
Really, really good. Other Lives so many memorable moments of dialogue and a fantastic cast to hold those up. It's great to hear The Eighth Doctor in a pure historical considering Big Finish do them so well. I highly recommend this one.
Scaredy Cat - 8.5/10
I'm aware that everybody hates this story. It has some pretty obvious flaws but for some reason I just really enjoyable. There are so many memorable bits of dialogue, I just find the story really entertaining. I'm also a big fan of the length of the story.
Caerdroia - 9.5/10
I love Caerdroia. It perfectly captures the isolated and dreamscape feel of the Divergent Universe. All the performances are amazing, Stephen Perring is on top form here as The Kro'ka. A very exciting setup for The Next Life.
Doctor Who - Neverland - Artwork
I love the imagery of this story. This piece was inspired by the original CD cover, I just love the colours. I tried my hardest to include Charley on this artwork but it juts wasn't working, very pleased with the other composites though!
Neverland - 8.5/10
Amazing. Neverland is such an intense and immersive story. This story contains such a brilliant cast portraying a wide array of amazing characters. It does a brilliant job of building up to Zagreus. I great final cliffhanger too.
Heart of Orion - 7/10
The problem with this one, is that it's a sequel 20 years on to a story that was widely regarded as just okay by most of the listeners. I wasn't particularly bothered but I admire the continuity between this and Sword of Orion. Some aspects were quite good!
The Slaying of The Writhing Mass - 7.5/10
This story was a bit of fun but also a bit silly. I'm not sure where I stand on it, it was just fine. I was entertained whilst listening, and The Doctor seems more in character in this story.
Eclipse - 7.5/10
This was better, I much prefer the story but things still aren't perfect. I don't mind the shorter length compared to to older plays, but there are clearer indications of modern Big Finish that take me out of the flow between this set and the Main Range.
The Mummy Speaks! - 6.5/10
The story was okay, but a few things were off here. India Fisher's performance is excellent, and as if she never left, but The Doctor seems oddly out of character in this set. It had nothing to do with McGann's performance, but something seemed wrong.
