@rmgraphics_ A small amount of the original game's art had the same color scheme as the sprites, and all of the art in Super Mario Advance was updated to have the correct coloring. So overall I'd say the color of the sprites are much more recognizable when it comes to SMB2.

For those wondering what the "Mixed Yoshi Design" is, it's a blend of both the Classic & Modern Yoshi designs that is currently used in 2D Promotional Art. It started sometime during the Wii U era, and now almost all new 2D Yoshi art is in that style.
