Here's a pretty shoddily-made, quick idea of what I think a Mega Mole redesign could look like.

I rarely ever draw characters like Rosalina, so I had to delve really deep into what I remember about her design, and Cackletta specifically is really off, but I can see where I got my ideas from

Are piranha plants even plants?
There's the common argument about bone piranha plants, but we also have stuff like Mom Piranha. And different piranha plants have been shown to have bodies, such as Piranha Beans and Petey Piranha.

Not to mention, all of them have tongues.
