As part of the Catalog IP project, RPG Maker MV featured assets of various Namco properties - Pac-Man included - for players to use in their creations.

Certain Pac-Man games created using RPG Maker MV were even released as their own standalone titles.

In his series of the same name, Klonoa wears a hat donning an image of Pac-Man.

The hat was briefly considered to be dropped when Klonoa was redesigned for the 2008 Wii remake of the first game. Due to fan outcry, however, Klonoa's look remained unchanged for the final product.

2012's Pac-Man Smash is a four-player air hockey game that starts out normal, but then turns into a frenzy as dozens of mini pucks spill onto the playing field!

This was followed up by Pac-Man Smash Slim Line in 2016 and Pac-Man Smash Mini in 2018, respectively.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Bandai Namco merge, the company formed "Catalog IP"

From 2016 to 2019, Japanese indie developers could create and sell (provided Bandai Namco approve of the pitch) games and content using the company's IP. Of course, this included Pac-Man

From the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s, Pac-Man games and promo materials alike mysteriously swapped the names of Blinky and Clyde.

While no reason for this name swap was ever given, it did get lampshaded in ShiftyLook's Bravoman webcomic as part of Braveman's interview with Clyde.

Starting September 10th, Join the Pac, the Pac-Man 40th Anniversary theme song, will be available as DLC for Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum'n'Fun.

So far, this is only confirmed for the Japanese version; no word yet on whether or not international versions will follow suit.

@okapi_pic Pac-Man Vs. is one of the games included in 2017's Namco Museum for Nintendo Switch.

This Namco Museum has later seen a physical release in 2018 in the form of Namco Museum Arcade Pac. This is a bundle that also includes Pac-Man Championship Edition 2+.

There were two Pac-Man video games released for the infamous Philips CD-i.

The games are Pac-Panic (read: Pac-Attack) and Arcade Classics, a compilation of Namco games that includes a unique version of Ms. Pac-Man.

The Pac-Man 40th Anniversary theme song, Join the Pac, is going to be included in the arcade game, Taiji no Tatsujin Nijiiro Ver., starting August 8th.
