Experimenting with lithographic crayons for on-site drawing. These are from the scenic HEB Foundation Camp, where our church had a retreat last weekend. I think my paper was too textured to get the look I wanted. @laitylodge
A rainy-day pic of our Glen Rose (TX) B&B from last weekend. The tree canopy above the roof is speckled because it was drizzling the whole time I was out there (in fact, I sometimes had to draw upside down to shield the pic from water). Watercolor and ink on watercolor paper.
Some gouache stuff in a toned sketchbook. I have no idea what that little motor, peeking out of an old wooden porch, was for.
Bolsey-Flex box camera. Germany, ca.1950s. Watercolor, about 3" square.
Another plastic wonder from the '50's, the Sabre 620. You could get it in all kinds of colors. And even attach a huge flash to the side, if it struck your fancy. Micron pen and watercolor on watercolor paper.
I like how this looks like a chipper little toy. But it's a REAL CAMERA. Watercolor and Micron pen, 2" square.
