LAVENDER JACK EP 40! The Hawthornes move to silence their old collaborators once and for all -- which, if you happen to be one of said collaborators, means you're in for a long, bad night...

LAVENDER JACK! We're in the final 10 eps of the season now. The pieces are all in place. So let's make sure our heroes are up to speed-- and not, say, doomed from the start by deep-rooted differences.

Saw some comments on this week's episode of LAVENDER JACK wondering if the story of Madame Ferrier's gold-hearted outlaw father was some kind of reference. It isn't; I'm just a giant & very basic sucker for Men Who Weren't Prepared To Be Single Fathers Trying Their Absolute Best
Additionally: THE RINGO AWARDS are taking nominations! Anyone can throw in a nomination, so if you feel like putting Lavender Jack up for Best Webcomic, hey! That would be a very fine thing. But I'll still appreciate you either way.

LAVENDER JACK😈! The Great Detective and the masked man finally get an ep to themselves -- and hey, why not use it to swap some family traumas? Said traumas feature: Dad stuff, death, and an elephant.

In this week's episode of LAVENDER JACK, we make a couple characters examine their secrets and faults. Some bear up better than others. Very few resort to physical violence. Not zero, but few.

There’s a brand new installment of MIDNIGHT FURIES out from @ThatJPHerron over on #LINEWEBTOON, and hey — I dig this series in particular and Jess’ work in general, and to anyone who isn’t yet, this episode is a great way to Get On My Level: https://t.co/pjwamQpKiv
This is a very good comment about two very good boys.
(Bowser, as we all know, is Sam’s doggo in @mongrelmarie‘s excellent and hugely popular Webtoon, LET’S PLAY. Bowser has more energy than Requin, but maybe it’d be good for the old boy to have a little pooch run him around.)
We let LAVENDER JACK cool off for a week, so now that we're back, let's stoke up a little heel heat ☠️🔥
Head on over to @LINEWebtoon if you feel like having a good ol' BOO and/or HISS (cheering is, of course, optional) : https://t.co/ZWtVypUpFM

There were a TON of excellent, prescient comments on this episode, but this one particularly worked for me — Death Note was a big influence on the structure of Lavender Jack (is Crabb more of a Chief Yagami or a Matsuda? Maybe both? Maybe both).
