@SEGAbits This one looks like it's from the cancelled Sega Technical Institute game Spinny and Spike for the MD. It was supposely to be a shmup or run 'n gun with a focus on Boss Battles, like Cuphead or Alien Soldier.

@BellaGaming10 Well, in the 16-bit era that was changing. It was more closer to the actual box art. In Gaiares you actually see those character designs as they are.

@St1ka There will be an english version so you can get that one. If you like classic anime aesthetic and crazy 80's OVA plots (And of course anime gurls in smol armor) you will love the Valis series a lot. Gameplay is secondary.
