Directed with frenetic abandon by Ryuhei Kitamura, this action-stuffed birthday bash - staring a record 15 Kaiju - was the grand finale to the Godzilla franchise... for a while. 😉

Over the last 24 hours, our illustrated English translation of Shigeru Kayama's 1954 #GODZILLA novelization has been read/downloaded nearly 120 times! That's incredible, and we're glad fans are enjoying it!

Our translated edition of Shigeru Kayama's #GODZILLA novelization drops tomorrow, so here's one final art reveal before the big day!

In the book, on the night the fishing ships are sunk, a comet slices through the skies over Odo Island. An old man decrees it an omen of death...

Following yesterday's announcement of PROJECT: KAYAMA, here's a peek at the art that will be accompanying the translated book!

The illustrator for this project is my good friend Robert Monsarrat, whose flappy-eared design for #Godzilla is inspired by Kayama's early descriptions:

@Jones6192 @SpawnofAtom This is a loophole that has resulted in a LOT of Kong material getting published that wouldn't have been otherwise. My personal favorite is Joe DeVito's "Kong: King of Skull Island", a fantastic illustrated prequel/sequel that every Kong fan should read.
