I'm incredibly bummed out how after all these years, there hasn't been a single Mizuno or Suetsugu-inspired artist that would draw Z series Zero in the X series artstyle. Can you imagine this twink with tubular arms and 90's anime eyes 😭

absolutely adore how in X3 and Z3, Zero's hair and weapon slash make up the number 3. not to mention those sick poses

MVCI was ok at best but it at least gave us some more X-series food by Keisuke Mizuno

thank god the current designer for the X series knows what he's doing! Mizuno not only brought the series' artstyle back to it's X5-X7 roots, but also slightly modernized it, kinda like Rebuild of Evangelion

when someone asks me how i view the X series, it's through Mizuno's art

don't give me that "it's just a different artist" Yoshikawa was the lead designer for both X7 AND X8. what happened man?
