on a related note, did we ever see the Zero series cast drawn in X series artstyle or any other one? whenever Mizuno draws him, he always tries to emulate Nakayama, even for the new X DiVE game. i kinda want to see MMZ Zero and the Guardians drawn differently for once

not that i'm complaining. Nakayama's art is godlike, but it's just so funny to me how these two are (technically) the same person

the artstyle change from Mega Man X to Zero always makes me lose my shit. how did Inafune looked at this bulky dude with a demon-shaped helmet, and decided "make him a twink"
