Week 2 of #artcamp 3 focused on master studies.

I'm ashamed to say I'm among those who had never actually done one and boy did I miss out! This week I started to realize how afraid of color I am and how little I really know about color relationships or use of color in general.

As promised I'll start posting my #artcamp 3 homework here.

Kicking off with week 1 - which focused on defining a foreground middle-ground and background using 3 values.

Texture study, iron.
I'm currently following a course on texture, starting with Iron. Assignment was drawing an iron ''material sphere'' and 3 iron objects from reference. Next up is gold.

Filled in the flats and figured out the colors/lighting! Quite enjoying working out my painting process, next up is fleshing out the shapes and then onto rendering!
