Asaro head study made for the portrait bootcamp! these are SO helpful to learn the planes of the face. never thought they'd be this useful. definitely doing more.

Texture study, iron.
I'm currently following a course on texture, starting with Iron. Assignment was drawing an iron ''material sphere'' and 3 iron objects from reference. Next up is gold.

I'll post a wip of my next painting soon as well, and commission info :D
