Everyone goes on about a proper Mario & Sonic crossover not happening yet but at this point, I’m actually more miffed that there isn’t a crossover game with Sonic and Mega Man at all considering the huge connections they had in the past.

@LonelyGoomba I always thought they made DK and Diddy the same size and height in the SNES era was because it would be easier for the players to play as either Kong without any drastic differences in gameplay.

I can never look at Sonic throwing punches again without thinking he’s gonna send them to Minecraft.

And it’s not like Ratchet and Clank are that unknown in Japan, they weren’t Crash-tier huge but not Spyro-tier infamous either.

It’s even known that they’ve done several alterations for the characters solely to please the JP audience.

I don’t know what to call this particular character design but I love it.

Mario’s entire design and concept is so interesting because he feels like something you don’t usually see out of a video game character.

He isn’t some cocky animal, JPRG pretty boy or a big tough guy, he’s just some portly big nosed mustached man in overalls and yet it works.
