@waiwode Beast-folk is probably the current term which would be used for most/all of TDT's species.
They are not chimeras nor simply anthropomorphic, but rather the evolution or "birth" of specific root species, raised to human-like core traits (dexterity/longthink), in weird environments

The Discording Tales has the pretentious luck to have been thoroughly infused by subtle "humanness", so that the eyes will perceive what they may wants, but most is rather never confirmed.
