This truly nightmarish apparition, created by the great Dick Smith, was excised from the final cut of GHOST STORY (1981) by director John Irvin for apparently being "too disturbing" (duh!) It was meant to cause Melvyn Douglas's character to die of fright/heart attack. #FX #Horror
